From there, he went on to create the telecom infrastructure group for Westbell Group of Companies. Alex joined DISTINCTTech as co-Chief Executive Officer in 2009. Joe has 20 years of leadership experience in challenging infrastructure projects. He has recruited and deployed large technical teams in record time, built out airport civil construction projects across the country, and repeatedly completed ambitious projects on-time and on-budget, regardless of challenges.
Joe showed an exceptional acumen for business at a very early age. He started his first business in his late teens and went on to found and sell a number of others. Joe was responsible for setting up Westbell’s western Canadian operations in 2006-2007, growing it to over 60 technicians in under eighteen months. He was also one of the original founders of DISTINCTTech. Over the next six years growth was considerable, in terms of both geography and scope of operations; this expansion led to DIG Group [TSX: DUG] being launched in 2015.
